We invited Dr. Dwi Susilaningsih, researcher of the LIPI (Indonesian Institute of Sciences), also the Co-chair of the Indonesia Branch Center of APEC Research Center for Advanced Biohydrogen Technology (ACABT), to deliver a speech on Mar. 31, 2017. The title of the speech is “Research on Biomass Energy in Indonesia: Demand and Challenge”. Dr. Dwi Susilaningsih shares information about 1) Indonesian Major Waste Biomass, 2) Conversion Biomass for Energy, 3) Current Research on Energy Base of Biomass in Indonesia, 4) Microbial Energy Resources, 5) Opportunity and Challenge Biomass Energy in Indonesia.
After the speech, both sides discussed current green energy developments, and most importantly, the short training course which will be held this July at Feng Chia University. Ten technicians from LIPI will join the course. Frequent interactions boost cooperation between both sides and would be helpful in advancing green energy technologies.
