As a co-organizer of the Experience Education Program(TEEP@AsiaPlus), APEC Research Center for Advanced Biohydrogen Technology (ACABT) held the International Workshop on Green Energy and Environment Technologies at Feng Chia University, Chinese Taipei on 31st of July, 2018.

 

The workshop invited Professor Shu-Yii Wu, CEO of APEC-ACABT to give a welcoming address. Associate Professor Chen-Yeon Chu, APEC-ACABT Executive Secretary, and Associate Professor Keng-Tung Wu, Secretary of APEC New and Renewable Energy Technologies Expert Group (APEC EGNRET), served as the moderator of the workshop. 

 

Total 23 participants were involved in this workshop, including Assistant Prof. Dr. Kannika Sahakaro, Vice Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology for graduation studies and research, Assist. Prof. Dr. Prawit Kongjan, Department of Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Prince of Songkla University , Assist. Prof. Dr. Rattana Jariyaboon, Department of Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Prince of Songkla University, Assistant Professor Shen-Shih Chiang, Department of Food Sciences and Biotechnology, National Chung Hsing University; Assistant Professor Yi-Yuan Su, Department of Law, National Chung Hsing University, 10 students from APEC economies and 1 student from non-APEC economies, Full-Time Master Students, Project Manager and Assistant Research Fellow, etc.

 

To complete the TEEP short-term training course, 6 exchange students, invited by APEC ACABT to present and share their final presentation of the research in this workshop. There are Mr. Mohd Hafis Irsyad bin Mohd Faudzi, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia(Malaysia), Ms. Sopee Pan-In, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University(Thailand), Mr. Saeful Anhari, Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia(Indonesia), Ms. Nikannapas Usmanbaha, Prince of Songkla University(Thailand), Mr. Thanapol Chantaravaranon, Kasesart University(Thailand), and Mr. Benedikt Werner Hülsemann, Univeristy of Hohenheim(Germany). It is not only providing an opportunity to the students from APEC economies or non-APEC economies to involve, learn the green technologies and local culture in Chinese Taipei, also advances the cooperation between Chinese Taipei and their economy in the future.
