The APEC 22nd Policy Partnership on Science and Technology Partnership Meeting (PPSTI 22) has taken place at the Seattle Convention Center in Washington, USA, on August 6-7th. Nearly 70 APEC PPSTI delegates and colleagues attended the meeting. They are from 15 APEC economies, including Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Peru, Russia, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, the United States, and Viet Nam.
Mr. Michael LIU, the Project Manager of APEC ACABT, attended the PPSTI 22 and presented ACABT's Annual and Concept Note Report at the Subgroup A - Building Science Capacity meeting. He reported ACABT's plans to hold the 2023 2nd ACABT Steering Committee Meeting, The 18th International Conference on Biohydrogen and Bioprocesses (ABBS 2023), and the 2023 APEC YES Challenge in Solo, Indonesia, this November. What came next is ACABT's newly proposed Concept Note, "Green Synergy Solutions to Net-Zero Emissions Based on Bioenergy Technologies for Resilience and Sustainability," which is endorsed by PPSTI and now seeking APEC's Sub-fund on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
